Frequently Asked Questions

What do you charge for web design/web development?

As every job has a unique set of circumstances and desired outcomes, I quote each job individually so you’re only paying for the services that you need. If you’re unsure of what you need just get in touch and we can discuss your current challenges and go from there.

What is the general website design/development process?

For a full website build, the process will normally begin with a couple of static mockups of key website pages (e.g. homepage and example content page). These will be provided for client feedback, and once approved, website development will begin with the look and feel of the site corresponding to the approved mockups.

The development site will be populated with content as much as is possible (depending on whether this can be migrated from an existing site) and once this is complete, the site will be handed over for review, both of the functionality and content of the site. Training will also be provided at this point so that changes can be made easily.

Once these aspects have been signed off the site can be launched.

Do you offer SEO services?

Yes and no. There are several aspects to SEO, and I can certainly put you on the right path by making sure your website is formatted correctly for Google, and that it’s tracking analytics, keywords and user interactions correctly. This puts you in a good position to improve your organic ranking, and to also make informed decisions based on analytics data. Once that’s set up if you require further refinement (eg, targeting specific keywords), I would recommend an SEO specialist to take over.

Do you offer domain registration / website hosting?

While I cannot provide these services directly, I can assist with setting these up with a reputable local provider, if needed.
